Gulf Merit is a premium quality oil developed especially for use in lubricating pneumatically operated rock drills and air operated percussion tools. Blended from high quality mineral oils, Gulf Merit combines outstanding film strength with anti-wear additives to protect against wear, corrosion and rust and to preserve the lifespan of components.
- Recommended for use in pneumatically operated underground or surface mining or quarry operation rock drills as well as pneumatically operated drills and jackhammers in road and building construction and other heavy-duty pneumatically operated equipment such as percussion and rotary operated industrial tools.
- Suitable for use in Gardner Denver, Chicago, Pneumatic, Ingersoll-Rand and other manufacturers’ pneumatic equipment.
- Excellent load carrying capacity and anti-wear protection reduce component wear for longer equipment life.
- Good chemical stability minimises the formation of sludge and deposits.
- Superior metal wetting properties and adhesiveness help adhesion to metal surfaces for optimal corrosion protection.
